Roshan Publicity began very humbly as an outdoor publicity marketing company in 1978.  Taking cues from the ways of the market, in the beginning it acted only as a mediator between owners of out of home media (billboards  primarily) and advertising and communication  cells that needed space to showcase their brands out-of-home  However, Abdul Kader Shaikh, founder, owner and chairman of the company had a vision that stretched beyond ordinary profit and loss balance sheets.  He never saw Roshan Publicity as a billboard marketing venture but as a space-selling corporate that brought value to its business associates and clients beyond a common demand-supply transaction.

Through the years, thanks to his initiative and hard work, not just his company but the whole outdoor publicity industry in Mumbai developed like never before.

Today, Roshan Publicity has a client list that includes prestigious names like Birla sunlife Insaurance,  ICICI, DSP Merryll Lynch, Tata Aig, Vodafone, Pepsi, Reliance, HDIL, EKTA World, LODHA, 9X and more in various sectors. Over the years, it has been an integral part of great advertising campaigns, and media solutions.

What’s more, earlier this year, it launched RoshanSpace to provide out of home media consultancy services.

Abdul Kader Shaikh continues to guide Roshan Publicity towards greater unexplored horizons. Today, he is more than ably helped by his two sons, Altaf Kadar Shaikh and Junaid Shaikh.
